Thermalright Frozen Infinity 240 Black AURA Sync Liquid CPU Cooler :
Buying Guide & Review
The pump head is usually the least interesting part of an AIO to look at, but Thermalright decided to change that with the Infinity Mirror design used on the Thermalright Frozen Infinity 240 Black AURA Sync Liquid CPU Cooler. Layered reflective panels create a depth effect under lighting, turning what is normally a plain plastic cap into an actual visual centrepiece for the build.
Underneath the show-piece design sits a conventional, well-supported 240mm liquid loop with wide socket coverage, so the styling comes without sacrificing everyday compatibility or reliable, everyday cooling performance.
1. Why the Frozen Infinity 240 Black Is a Smart Choice
The Infinity Mirror Pump Head
Layered mirrors and RGB lighting on the pump top create a sense of depth that most standard AIO caps cannot match, making it one of the more distinctive-looking pump heads in this price range by some distance.
AURA Sync Compatibility
Support for ASUS AURA Sync lets the lighting integrate with a wider RGB ecosystem for builders already using AURA-compatible motherboards, fans or RAM.
2. Design & Build
240mm Radiator With Dual PWM Fans
The 240mm radiator is paired with two PWM fans, giving the loop the airflow it needs to make full use of the radiator’s surface area under real load.
Sleeved Black Tubing
Sleeved black tubing keeps the loop’s cabling tidy and consistent with an all-black build, rather than the exposed rubber tubing found on some budget AIOs on the market today.
3. Frozen Infinity 240 Black Specs Explained
Dual PWM Fans, Up to 2000RPM
Both radiator fans are PWM controlled and can spin up to 2000RPM, giving a wide range between quiet idle running and full cooling capacity under load.
Exceptionally Wide Socket Support
Mounting covers AMD AM4 and AM5, alongside Intel LGA1150, 1151, 1200, 2011, 1700 and 1851, one of the broader compatibility lists among AIOs at this price point, spanning current and several older Intel platforms.
4. Cooling Performance
Solid Mid-Range Liquid Cooling
As a 240mm loop it offers the usual liquid cooling advantages over an air tower of similar size, holding temperatures more consistently through extended gaming or rendering sessions.
A Practical Match for Mainstream Builds
The cooling capacity here suits mainstream and upper mid-range CPUs well, giving a comfortable margin for typical gaming and productivity workloads.
5. Lighting & Software
A Genuine Visual Upgrade
For builders who want their case to be a talking point, the Infinity Mirror effect stands out in a way a flat RGB cap simply does not, especially through a tempered glass side panel.
Works Within Existing RGB Setups
AURA Sync support means the pump’s lighting can follow the same profiles as the rest of an AURA-enabled build instead of needing its own separate app.
6. Pakistan Market Perspective
A Statement Piece for Showcase Builds
Local PC-building communities put a lot of weight on how a build photographs, and the Infinity Mirror pump gives this cooler a genuine edge in builds meant to be shown off online or at a meetup.
Wide Platform Support Reduces Waste
Because the mounting kit covers such a broad range of Intel and AMD sockets, the same cooler can often move with a builder from an older platform to a newer one instead of being discarded.
A Talking Point for Content Creators
Pakistan’s growing base of PC-building content creators and streamers often look for parts that photograph and film well, and the pump head here is designed with exactly that kind of visibility in mind.
7. Frozen Infinity 240 Black Price in Pakistan & Value
Paying for the Lighting as Much as the Cooling
Part of the value proposition here is the distinctive pump head design, so buyers who care less about looks may find similarly capable, plainer 240mm AIOs for less.
A Fair Price for a Standout Look
For anyone building around a glass side panel, the extra visual impact of the Infinity Mirror design is a reasonable trade for a modest premium over a plain-capped AIO.
8. Who Should Buy the Frozen Infinity 240 Black?
A Great Fit For
Builders who want their pump head to be a visual feature, AURA Sync users looking for matching lighting, and anyone needing broad Intel or AMD socket coverage.
Consider Another Cooler If
You prefer a plain, understated pump cap or want to save on the styling premium, in which case a standard 240mm AIO will suit better.
Conclusion
The Thermalright Frozen Infinity 240 Black AURA Sync Liquid CPU Cooler stands out where most AIOs blend in, using an Infinity Mirror pump head and AURA Sync support to turn the cooler into a genuine visual feature, backed by a solid 240mm loop and exceptionally wide socket support.
For a Pakistani build meant to be shown off through a glass panel, this is one of the more distinctive 240mm liquid coolers currently available.
